Imogene Pass Run, Ouray to Telluride - September 6, 2008

The Imogene Pass Run course is 17 miles, 2.5 blocks long (17.1 miles). The  Run has increased greatly in size and importance from its humble origins in 1974. Where once it was an adventure run for a few pioneers, today the race is immensely popular and the number of registered participants is by necessity restricted, due to safety and logistics reasons. From the original field of six, it has grown to encompass more than 1500 participants!

Blues and Brews Festival , Telluride - September 12-14, 2008

One of the most scenic music festivals in the country, the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival is a three day celebration of music and microbrews, held in Telluride Town Park , an outdoor music venue with breathtaking mountain peaks for a backdrop. By day, experience live blues, rock, funk, gospel, and soul, the best microbrews from over 50 microbreweries during Saturday's Grand Tasting, a wide variety of food and craft vendors, children's activities, and more - all on the festival grounds. By night, follow the festival as it flows into the town of Telluride and Mountain Village, with late night juke joints and after-hours jams.

1st Annual La Sportiva Ouray Mountain Trail Run - October 4, 2008

1st Annual La Sportiva Ouray Mountain Trail Run. This inaugural run circumnavigates a 13.9 mile loop around the City of Ouray on USFS trails. It is scheduled for October 4 in coordination with Ouray Oktoberfest. For information, visit www.ouraytrailrun.com.
