Kersen for bio 300.JPGChristine Kersen, Broker Associate, moved to Ouray in the summer of 1995, intending to return to California at the end of the summer.  But she loved the mountains and the small town lifestyle so much that she never left!  Now, a husband and 4 children later, she couldn't be happier with her decision.  Christine and her husband own a contracting business where she does the bookkeeping and helps make design decisions on the spec houses that they build.  She decided that a career in real estate would be an asset to their construction business, and a great way to meet new people.  She  is happy to share her knowledge and love of Ouray with other people looking to relocate here.

agent_alice.jpgAlice Leeper, Broker Associate, moved to Aspen, CO at 18 to ski in the sunshine and ended upstaying summers as well! She met her husband on the ski slopes, and ended up living there and working in property management and real estate.  She set aside her career to raise her three children, doing the bookkeeping for her husband's contracting business.  The family moved to Ouray in 1994 for a more down-to-earth lifestyle and Alice went to work for ORI.  She ended up buying the business, expanding the property management, and striving to build the quality, honesty, professionalism, and philanthrophy of Ouray Realty.  As her children left the nest, Alice decided to sell the business and work as an agent only. She now has time to hike these gorgeous mountains, volunteer more, and travel with her husband. Being a part of the business community and having many real estate investments of her own, Alice understands the ups and downs of the market and firmly believes you can't go wrong buying in or around Ouray. Her motto? "Live where you want to vacation!"
